Getting Ready

We have just about two and a half months before we leave for Peru!  We are busy cleaning out the house, listing things on Craigslist, and most importantly praying! Some days it seems as if things are all under control, and then there are days, like today, when nothing seems to go right!  It took most of the day to figure out how to post our newsletter on Facebook, how to set up a blog, and transfer addresses into our new g-mail account.  We are not very tech-savvy, but want to figure all this out so that we can stay in contact with all of our friends and family! If you understand how blogs work, we hope you will follow us =)

We love how God cares about the little things!  When we were ready to give up for the night, we joined hands as a family and prayed, and then tried to post the newsletter one more time.  This time it worked!  Thank you, Jesus!  Then back to the blog we went, with a new attitude.  This time we realized that this journey we are on is not going to be easy and there will be times when nothing goes right.  But we can't forget to stop, pray, and remember to trust in Jesus because He cares about the details too!
